Bronze Fastener Wire

The most suitable composition is phosphorous bronze for fasteners.

Features:

  • toughness
  • strength
  • low coefficient of friction
  • fine grained
  • Resistance to fatigue and corrosion
  • resistance to wear in salt and water environment

While tin increases the strength of the material, phosphorous improves the fluidity of the metal, making it easier to cast.

The following grades of phosphor bronze wires are suitable for manufacturing fasteners.
